In a semiconductor plant a 4” natural gas pipeline is leaking at the pipe elbow and valve connections. It is necessary to stop the leak as soon as possible without performing hot works and while the plant is in operation.

Alstern’s specialist used ‘Fix’N’Fast Repair Putty & ‘SmartStic Epoxy was applied onto the pipe elbow to stop the leak and reinforce the pipeline. Next, ‘QuikControl Fiberglass Tape’ was applied over the repaired surface to increase the pipe wall thickness.
